India to buy $3 billions of military equipment

Feb. 26 – US President Trump received a warm welcome in his visit to India this week.

The official visit was aimed at strengthening the commercial relations between the two big countries towards a trade deal, possibly a free trade agreement.

Trump announced that India, a very important player in the plan to balance the weight of China in the region, committed to buying 24 SeaHawk helicopters from Lockheed Martin equipped with Hellfire missiles worth $2.6 billion and plans a follow-on order for six Apache helicopters.
