U.S. worried by ISIS’ evolution into global network that inspires attacks worldwide

Jun. 24 – According to how reported by Nathan Sales, U.S. Coordinator for Counterterrorism at State Department, the Islamic State is evolving from a terrorist group that holds a territory into a global network that aims to inspire terrorist attacks on a global scale.

Furthermore, Nathan Sales said on Wednesday that IS is not only planning attacks but also inspiring individuals to commit attacks “on their own devices.”

This statement was made during a press conference that announced the State Department’s 2019 country reports on terrorism.
